Everything Bagel and Vegetable Cream Cheese Dip

One of my favorite snacks to offer clients on their weekly menu, as well as a go to party dip, this recipe is a total crowd-pleaser and combines everything I like about a perfect New Jersey bagel, without the bagel. And, if you're wondering, I'll take an everything toasted with vegetable cream cheese - except I also love scallion cream cheese, so you get them both in this recipe. Extra divine.

A favorite thing of mine….DIP! First off, it’s a way to use those chip ‘n dip platters you have stored away in some cupboard. Second, a dip is fun! Guests can pick and choose their vessel of choice – carrot stick, pita chip, bell pepper?! – and however much dip they’d like to accompany. Dips are a win-win in my book.

A bonus with this recipe is the veggies used in the dip are also perfect to serve alongside. Add bagel chips, sliced baguette, or crackers for your carbivores and everyone’s happy.

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Using a handheld mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and sour cream on high speed until very well combined and slightly fluffy.  

    Add the everything bagel seasoning, salt, and pepper and beat until combined.

  2. Step 2

    Using a spoon, stir in the vegetables until combined.  Taste and adjust seasoning.

    Serve with bagel chips or crudités.

Note

This dip will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.
